Point 9 of the SigmaKalon Safety, Health, Environment and Quality provides the implementation of recognised and externally auditable management systems.

The different SigmaKalon activities have the following management systems:

Related to Safety and Health:
The Dutch production sites (Deco North and Industrial Coatings) and the Marine and Protective Coatings site in Deurne are certified according to ISRS level 6. The safety and health certification of Czech Republic and Slovakia as OHSAS 18001 is an interesting benchmark for the other affiliates of the group.

Related to Environment:
Deco UK (Birstall and Morley), Deco North (Supply) and Deco International (The Czech Republic, Slovakia and Guadeloupe) are certified according to ISO 14001.

Related to Quality:
Every BU is certified according to ISO 9001. Also the Decorative Coatings R&D organisation is certified.

All other sites are progressing according to the SigmaKalon SHEQ 3-year plan.
